Kirkwall and St Ola Community Council elect office bearers

There was no change at Kirkwall and St Ola Community Council yesterday evening as last year’s office bearers were re-elected for another 12 months.

David Dawson will continue in the role as chairman while Tom Rendall was unanimously returned as vice-chairman.

Alastair MacLeod will carry on as the community council’s planning representative and George Eunson retains the position of municipal and roads service (MARS) representative.

The finance sub-committee will consist of Mr Dawson, Mr Rendall, Isobel Scholes and Bryan Taylor, again the same as last year.
