Kirkwall Lifeboat called to trawler

Kirkwall Lifeboat was launched early this morning to go to the aid of a fishing boat which has lost power to the east of Orkney.

The lifeboat crew were called out at 6.30am, and currently have the trawler Acorn, which has six crew onboard, under tow, and are heading back to Kirkwall.
