Kirkwall Lifeboat launched to fishing vessel

Kirkwall Lifeboat has been launched this morning and is heading to a fishing boat reported to be taking on water to the east of Sanday.

The Margaret Foster left Kirkwall Harbour a short time ago, and is heading towards the fishing vessel Tranquility which is said to have six crew onboard.
