Kirkwall roadworks on Monday

Resurfacing work is set to get under way on Monday morning on the section of road outside the Royal Bank of Scotland in Kirkwall.

This section of road will need to be closed while the work is carried out, which will mean that parking is unavailable outside Spence’s newsagents during the working day. There will also be restricted access to Victoria Street and Tankerness Lane.

The work is expected to take a week to complete.

Access for vehicles will be available each day before 9am, between 12 noon and 1pm and after 4pm. Access outside those times will be at the discretion of staff on site, and is likely to involve delays.
