Kirkwall to Stromness road now open following livestock collision
The Kirkwall to Stromness road was shut for a short time earlier this morning after a vehicle collided with livestock.
The accident took place just before 7am when a car hit a cow between Finstown and the Harray Road end.
Orkney police confirmed that no one was hurt and the road has now reopened.
It is believed a number of cattle may still be on the loose and Kirkwall police have asked anyone with information to contact them on 101.
