Leading positions on Licensing Committee announced

Councillor Duncan Tullock has been elected as chair of Orkney Islands Council’s Licensing Committee.

After being nominated by Councillor Rob Crichton, Councillor Tullock was elected to the position of chair with five votes, at a meeting this morning, Thursday.

Barbara Foulkes was also nominated for the position, but missed out after receiving only three votes. She was then chosen as vice-chair.

Both councillors have been elected to the same positions on the OIC Licensing Board, which also met this morning.
