Lifeboat called out to fishing vessel

Kirkwall Lifeboat was launched on Thursday afternoon to go to the aid of a small fishing boat which had broken down off Deerness.

A Coastguard spokesman said that Kindly Light had two people on board and was two miles south-east of Mull Head at the time of the incident.

The vessel was towed to Kirkwall pier.
