Liner season comes to a close
The last visiting cruise liner scheduled to tie up at Hatston Pier in 2014 called in today.
The Albatros, which has a passenger capacity of 800, arrived from Rosyth, and is due to sail on to Ullapool later today.
Just one more liner is due to visit Orkney this year, as the Hanseatic is due to drop anchor off Stromness on September 23.
Around 65,000 passengers and 20,000 crew will have visited Orkney during the 2014 cruise ship season which began back in May, Â a season which has seen over 70 port calls from cruise liners.
