Longhope lifeboat called to the aid of diver

The Longhope Lifeboat was called to the aid of a diver in distress near Lyness on Tuesday afternoon.

The diver, who was showing symptoms of the decompression sickness, the bends, was taken on board the lifeboat and taken to Stromness for transfer to the hyperbaric chamber.
