New surgery building opened in Eday

This morning saw the opening of the new surgery building in Eday.

Staff, representatives from the NHS Orkney board and island residents turned out for the ribbon cutting, which took place at 11am this morning.

The ribbon was cut by Eday’s youngest resident, 10-week-old Logan Garson, with help from his Mum and Dad, Lorna and Aaron, at 11am.

The £400,000 building is next to the old surgery building.
