New website for Orkney Archaeology Society

Today, Friday, sees the launch of the new Orkney Archaeology Society (OAS) website.

It aims to provide a calendar of the varied activities programme that the OAS have lined up for the summer, galleries and video highlighting past digs and community events, information about archaeology in Orkney generally and the latest news and information.

OAS membership secretary Andre Artymiuk said: “We hope the new website will be a useful resource  for  visitors to Orkney, residents of the islands and OAS members, and contribute to the all important public face of Orkney archaeology.”
