NHS break-in is third in one week

In the wake of this morning’s break-in at Garden House, police have confirmed it was the third in Kirkwall since Friday.

The former premises of McConnechy’s Garage, Mill Street was broken into on Monday, with computer equipment stolen, and the Well Park Garden Centre was broken into on Tuesday.

At present, it is not known whether anything was stolen from Garden House or the garden centre, but police inquiries are continuing.
