Nine months in prison for catalogue of offences

A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to nine months in prison after committing a catalogue of offences dating back to November 2010.

Appearing at Kirkwall Sheriff Court today, Daniel Scott McBeth, of 15 Andersquoy Court, Kirkwall, was found guilty of buying alcohol for four girls aged between 13 and 15 on October 15.

McBeth had previously pleaded guilty to misuse of the emergency 999 system, theft, acting in a racially aggravated manner, fighting, and a breach of the peace.
