NorthLink Ferries sponsorship scheme

Following the news that Serco NorthLink has discontinued the group discount scheme on its Northern Isles ferries, the company is keen to point out it has a sponsorship scheme available, on application, to schools, sports and community groups — including those involved in the Commonwealth Games — with an annual value of £100,000.

Unlike the previous schools and communities discount it has a formal application process to ensure that any discount or free travel is applied fairly and appropriately.

Applications are currently being called for the first of two funding rounds in 2013. The deadline has been extended until March 27.
