NorthLink ferry disruptions

NorthLink Ferries say there are disruptions on its Pentland Firth service today, Wednesday.

The Helliar, covering for the Hamnavoe which is away on refit, is presently berthed in Stromness, with the company saying that due to the adverse weather the 9am sailing from Stromness to Scrabster, and the 11.30am return sailing from Scrabster to Stromness have been cancelled.

This morning the company said that the next sailing is expected to depart Stromness at 4.30pm.
