NorthLink sponsorship reminder
Local residents, clubs and event organisers are being reminded to apply for sponsorship through the Serco NorthLink Ferries Sponsorship Programme ahead of next week’s deadline.
The company’s bi-annual sponsorship call closes at 5pm on Thursday March 13. It is designed to support local community groups, events, and individuals by providing discounted fares and travel vouchers, enabling them to travel between the mainland and Orkney and Shetland.
Stuart Garrett, managing director at Serco NorthLink, said: “With our ferry service being of significant importance to residents of Orkney and Shetland, the sponsorship programme remains a key part of our wider commitment to the community.
“We would encourage those seeking assistance with their travel to get in touch so that we can continue supporting local people and groups in the excellent work that they do.”
