The tyres are though to have been deposited there sometime between 4pm on Sunday, March 2, and midday on Monday, March 3.

Orkney Islands Council Environmental Health Manager David Brown said: “It is unacceptable to deposit any type of waste outside the recycling centre. We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this to contact  Environmental Health and provide as much detail as possible to help us find whoever is responsible.”
