OIC bus survey reminder
Orkney Islands Council is reminding users of the county’s public bus services to make sure they take part in its online survey.
There are just over two weeks left to take part in the survey, which seeks to gather feedback from the public about Orkney’s bus services ahead of the current contract ending in January 2015.
The survey is available via the council’s website in the consultation section. Paper copies of the survey are available from the council’s Customer Services, and from the Kirkwall and Stromness Travel Centres.
OIC’s transport manager, Laura Cromarty, said: “We’ve had almost 200 responses so far, which is a fantastic response — the feedback has been generous, with lots of very useful suggestions for where and how services could be tweaked.
“We would really like as many folk as possible to complete the survey — so if you’ve ever wished things were slightly different on the bus services you use, this is your chance to let us know, before details are drawn up for the next contract.”
