Work is progressing as follows:

A965 at Finstown — Work on Phase Two of the site is ongoing, with a closure of The Old Finstown Road between Acre Lea Road and the A965 in place — signed diversion is in place via Old Finstown Road and Zions Loan. The main A965 Kirkwall to Stromness road is open under temporary traffic lights — please allow extra time for your journey.

Top of Clay Loan and surrounds — Work on Dundas Crescent will start on Monday, April 25. Dundas Crescent will be closed from Bignold Park Road to Buttquoy Crescent, for around three days. A signed diversion route will in place via Bignold Park Road, The Meadows and Thom Street for the duration of the work. Bus services No. 4 (Kirkwall Airport) and No. 9 (Kirkwall Town Service) will follow the diversions.

Old Finstown Road, Firth — Work is planned to start on Thursday, April 28 between Zions Loan and Cursiter Farm. Work will be carried out using temporary traffic signals and are expected to take around one week. Allow extra time for your journey.
