Orkney College UHI student lands top role
A student who studies at Orkney College UHI has been elected to one of the top jobs in the University of the Highlands and Islands’ Students’ Association (UHISA).
21-year-old Dain Roberts, a Scottish cultural studies student from America, has been voted as UHISA’s depute president.
Dain will support UHISA president, Rachel Parker, a marine science student in Oban, and vice-president, Kat Bateson a literature student from Inverness, to represent the 7,000 students in university’s partner colleges and centres across the region.
