Orkney confirms new COVID case

The number of cases of coronavirus recorded in Orkney has risen by one in the past 24 hours, according to the latest figures released by the Scottish Government, this afternoon, Sunday.

This is the 16th test-confirmed case to be attributed to Orkney since the pandemic began.

NHS Orkney has confirmed that this is the seventh case in a cluster linked to an Orkney fishing boat.
