Orkney groups invited to bid for “window of opportunity” grants

Charities and community groups in Orkney are being invited to bid for £5,000 in grant funding from the double glazing firm, Weatherseal.

The “window of opportunity” bursary will help fund community events, projects, groups or activities.

The grants can be used for any community and charity based activity, for example, a football team needing a new kit or money towards a local charity group away day.

To apply, e-mail bursary@weatherseal.co.uk stating why your group deserves a share of the £5,000 bursary. The deadline for entries is November 30.
