Orkney teachers gather for strike action

A group of around 50 teachers from across Orkney gathered at the Kirk Green in Kirkwall this Thursday as colleagues nationwide mount a day of strike action.

All but three schools in the county have been closed today as the result of the industrial action by the EIS union over pay.
