Orphir council houses complete

The first council houses to be built in Orphir in over 20 years have been completed.

The two single storey bungalows, at Petticoat Lane, were handed over to the council, this week, by contractors R. Clouston Ltd.

The Petticoat Lane development is the latest stage in Orkney Islands Council’s house development programme which will see at least 125 new council houses provided in Orkney.

A public open day is being held on Saturday, June 18, from 10am – noon, for people to come and have a look around the new development.
