Papdale development brief consultation

Orkney Islands Council’s draft papdale development brief will be published for a six-week period of consultation up until June 13.

The draft development brief relates to the area around the current Papdale Halls of Residence and Papdale Farm.

According to Stuart West, the council’s development and marine planning manager, the draft development brief builds on planning and design principles established in the Kirkwall Urban Design Framework, and will assist the planning process for any development on these sites.
