Penalty heartache for Orkney FC
Orkney FC relinquished their grip on the Jock Mackay Cup, losing to Invergordon on penalties.
Chris Hellewell’s magnificent free-kick ended an enterprising first-half on a high note, curling the ball into the net from 25 yards.
Invergordon hit back in the second half, and with no extra-time played, the match went straight to penalties.
Both sides were locked at 4-4 after missing a spotkick each, however, Thorfinn Stout’s skewed effort handed Invergordon the opportunity to book their spot in the final.
