People asked to test daily after cases identified from December 18 events

NHS Orkney has identified a number of COVID positive cases among individuals that attended large social events/establishments in Kirkwall town centre on Saturday, December 18.

The health board is now asking everyone who went along to one of these last weekend considers taking daily lateral flow tests until Tuesday, December 28.

If one of these is positive, or if people develop any symptoms then, as usual they should please isolate and get a PCR test.

Lateral flow tests are available online, from local pharmacies and also from the COVID vaccination centre.
