Police appeal for information

Police are appealing for information regarding three incidents that all took place in Kirkwall over last Friday and Saturday.

First of all, on Friday August 23 shortly after 7pm, a silver Volkswagen van was struck and damaged whilst parked in the car park of Tesco, Pickaquoy Road. It is suspected that the damage was caused by another vehicle or possibly a trailer.

Secondly, sometime between the afternoon of Friday, August 23, and the afternoon of the following day, Saturday, damage was done to Groatie Hoose which is situated within Tankerness Gardens. The damage consists of a set of iron bars covering one of the window openings having been pulled from the building.

Lastly, sometime overnight on Saturday, August 24, damage was done to a garden fence in Meadow Drive, Kirkwall.
