Police appeal for information

Police in Kirkwall have put out an appeal after a commercial premises was broken into in Albert Street.

The incident is said to have occurred between 7pm on Tuesday and 9.30am on Wednesday.

Police are also looking for information after a car was damaged at Linklet in Papdale between 4pm on Tuesday and 12.30pm Wednesday.

Also, damage occurred to an area of ground around the Orkney Cheese factory at Hatston by someone driving a vehicle off-road recently. Police believe the damage was carried at around 2am on Tuesday.
