Police appeal for information after fire-raising incident

An act of “wilful fire-raising” has prompted a police to issue a public appeal for further information.

The incident occurred outside the public toilets by the Pierowall Hotel, on Westray, at around 1.10am on Saturday morning, September 10.

A police spokeswoman said: “If anyone has any information regarding this please contact Police Scotland on 101 or attend at the Kirkwall Police Station.”
