Police appeal for information

Police in Kirkwall are appealing for information following a “suspicious vehicle fire”, last night.

Police have said a blue Peugeot 106 was set on fire within a residential car park on Pickaquoy Loan, Kirkwall, at about 10.20pm.

Police are also appealing for witnesses to two incidents which occurred on Friday.

Firstly, A silver Audi A3 car was damaged in the Tesco car park in Kirkwall between 9.30pm and 10.30 pm. Police think the car was struck by another vehicle.

Secondly, Police are also asking to talk to anyone who witnessed an unprovoked assault on the service X1 Stagecoach bus from St Margaret’s Hope to Burray, at 8pm.
