Police appeal over missing Hoy man

Police are concerned for the wellbeing of a Longhope man and are anxious to trace his whereabouts.

Lewis Brown is 53 years old and was last seen, in Hoy, around 12.30pm on Wednesday, November 9.

He is described as being 6ft 1 ins tall, thin build, shaved head with grey hair pony tail. He was last seen wearing green combat trousers, a dark-coloured top and a camouflage parka jacket. He also has some distinctive tattoos.

Police are asking that Hoy residents check out buildings or out houses, with a view to tracing Mr Brown.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr Brown is  asked to contact Kirkwall Police station on 872241.
