Police warn drivers to prepare for wintry conditions
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for icy conditions across the Highlands and Islands for tonight and tomorrow morning.
According to the Met Office, as temperatures fall below zero on Thursday evening and Friday morning, icy stretches are likely to form on any untreated routes still wet from earlier showers. Some snow is also likely to settle, mainly on highest routes, where a few centimetres could accumulate.
Police are urging drivers to check the weather forecast and be aware of possible difficult travel conditions.
