We have a varied and exciting opportunity available for the right candidate to join our friendly and motivated team at Print Orkney.

The Role

We are looking for a pre-press operative with graphic design experience to join our pre-press team.

Ideally you will be practiced at using desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and or Illustrator and be able to support clients with design ideas right from the outset.

You must be a good communicator, organised and able to deliver jobs efficiently and effectively to high standards for our clients.

Previous experience having worked with digital wide format printing and application would also be an advantage, however training in these aspects can be given for the right candidate.

Hours

The post is part-time working 3 days per week (21 hours). However, for any prospective candidate looking for more hours, there is also the option to support our production team with newspaper dispatch and other print finishing activities, which would make the position up to 35 hours per week.
