Public launch of Orkney Health and Care plan
The Orkney Public Partnership Forum will host two public events on August 3, when Orkney Health and Care will launch its service delivery plan for 2011-12.
Eleanor MacLeod, chairwoman of the PPF said: “We are very pleased to be able to give the leaders of Orkney Health and Care an opportunity to inform the public about their plan.”
A presentation will be followed by a session when the public can put questions to chief executive of NHS Orkney and director of Orkney Health and Care, Cathie Cowan, and
OH&C chairman, Russ Madge plus deputy chairwoman, Mairhi Trickett.
There will be two meetings – one at 3pm in the St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall and a later one at 7pm in Stromness Academy.
Set up two years ago, the PPF’s role is to bring together people with an interest in health and social care services, so that the views of the wider community are fed into service planning, service improvement and service delivery. For more information, click here.
