Reappointment to NHS Orkney board announced

NHS Orkney board member Naomi Bremner has been reappointed to the role for the next four years.

The announcement was made yesterday, Monday, by Alex Neil, cabinet secretary for health and wellbeing.

The role is part-time and attracts a remuneration of £7,332 for a time commitment of eight hours per week.

Mrs Bremner, who has served on the board since December 2010, has a background in transport planning and strategy, and also runs a buffalo farm with her husband in Deerness.
