Road accident in Stromness

Police have confirmed that an accident occurred on North End Road, Stromness this morning.

The incident, which was reported at around 8.15am, involved a Honda motorcycle.

The rider, a man in his 60s, has been taken to Balfour Hospital, but his injuries are said to not be severe, according to police.
