Road closures in Kirkwall town centre

Bridge Street and Albert Street in Kirkwall is closed to traffic from Monday to Friday this week to enable BT to carry out work underground.

BT will be working near the Harbour Fry and opposite Mounthoolie Lane. During this time, a new water connection will also be made near the Dealz store.

It is hoped that the street will only be closed during the working day, with access available at all other times.

Access to both streets during the working day will be at the discretion of the contractors on site.
