Rovers collect League trophy

Kirkwall Rovers picked up the Brough Cup at the Bignold Park this evening as winners of the Orkney Cheese A League.

Rovers played out a 3-3 draw with Kirkwall rivals Thorfinn on the night to finish the league on 48 points, seven points ahead of their closest rivals.

It was the third year in succession that they have picked up the league title. Their captain Adam Stanger picked up the cup from Tim Deakin representing sponsors Orkney Cheese.
