Sanday Show gets under way
The 131st Sanday Show is about to get under way.
Entries for the North Isles agricultural showcase, which kicks off Orkney’s Show Week, have been arriving since the park opened at 9am and the judging is about to commence.
A day is warm but overcast and ground conditions are good. Entries are on par with last years although cattle numbers are slightly down.
In tandem with the main show held in the park alongside Sanday School, will be the industrial show in the school itself. Emma Neave-Webb will officially open the proceedings there at 2pm.
