Scottish legend rolls into town…
He whipped up a storm as one of the biggest Scottish stars of the 1980s, and this year ex-Marillion frontman, Fish, will have racked up 30 years as a singer.
And tonight, Friday, he is performing in Kirkwall’s Pickaquoy Centre.
Speaking to The Orcadian’s Leah Seator, he said: “This is only an acoustic show, but it has the dynamics of a full band — hopefully if it works this time, we’ll be looking forward to coming back to Orkney next year with a full band.
Fans at the show tonight will be delighted to hear such a diverse collection of Fish’s work from all parts of his career in music, which began when he was just 21, in 1981.
