Second body recovered from Boardhouse Loch
Police have confirmed that the body of a man was recovered from the Boardhouse Loch, in Birsay, last night, Sunday.
After a report from a member of the public around 5pm on Sunday, police officers and Coastguard attended the scene, where a body was recovered.
According to police, the body has not been formally identified but the family of Boyd Livingstone, 68, have been made aware.
Mr Livingstone was reported missing, along with his brother, Andrew Livingstone, 71, on Wednesday, August 3.
Following a search operation involving police, the fire service, the local community and Coastguard teams – including a helicopter from Sumburgh – the body of Andrew Livingstone was found on the shore of the loch later that day.
The boat and jeep used by the men were also found nearby.
