Set your timers for the Great Stromness Bake Off

Stromness is to hold its very own Bake Off next Friday to raise funds for Macmillan, as part of its Big Night In campaign.

Kerry Sinclair, from Iced n’ Sliced, and Karen Bevan from Karen’s Cakes, will be the judges for the Great Stromness Bake Off, to be held in the Stromness Community Centre on Friday, May 16.

The competition is open to everyone, and categories include: best cake, best traybake, most inventive, and best overall. There is no limit to the number of entries, with participants asked to have their entries at the community centre from 6pm, with the doors open to the public at 8pm.
