Shetland challenge for netballers

Orkney’s A and B senior netball squads take on their Shetland counterparts in the annual inter-county matches today.

This year’s inter-county is being staged at Clickimin in Lerwick, with the B match due to begin at 1.30pm, followed by the A encounter at 4pm.

This year, the Orkney A team captain is Claire Wilson, with Kirsten Learmonth captaining the B side.

Spoils were shared in Orkney last year, with Shetland winning the B fixture, before the hosts levelled matters with a 56-37 victory in the A clash.
