Sichel chasing more records in Monaco
Orkney ultra-marathon runner William Sichel is due to start competing in the 14th edition of the “No Finish Line” eight-day road race in Monaco today.
Around 50 competitive runners will compete in the event, which also attracts thousands of charity runners and walkers, and is due to commence at 1pm UK time today.
It will be William’s first race as an over-60 runner, which opens the door to a host of new record opportunities.
William, from Sanday, has been in good form this year, taking second place in his last outing at the British UltraFest six-day track race in August.
William’s blog will be updated regularly with news from the race and can be found at www.williamsichel.co.uk.
