Sponsored rowers finish ahead of schedule
A sponsored row around the Orkney Mainland and linked isles finished at around 11am this morning –Â four hours ahead of schedule.
37 members of the Orkney Rowing Club set out on the challenge at 3pm yesterday afternoon, with the goal being to finish within 24 hours.
The club is raising money on behalf of four charities – RNLI, Cardiac Risk in the Young, CLAN and Age Scotland.
