Theft from unlocked vehicles prompts police appeal

Police in Kirkwall are appealing for information after items were taken from two unlocked vehicles parked in the private car park at the rear of Thom Street, Kirkwall.

According to police, around £20 in cash and a Nintendo Switch game console were removed from a blue Volkswagen Touran and a white Volkswagen Transporter, between 5.30pm, yesterday (Monday) and 7.15am, this morning (Tuesday).

Anyone who has any information that may assist police with their enquiries, should contact Kirkwall Police Station on 101.
