Time running out for photographic competition entries

The deadline for entries to RSPB Orkney and Orkney Camera Club’s year-long photographic comptetion — Wild Orkney: The Way I See It — is tomorrow, Sunday, March 31.

The best photographs will be displayed at the Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall, during the forthcoming Orkney Nature Festival, which takes place from May 11 to 19.

An electronic display of the best entries will also be on show in the entrance to Kirkwall Town Hall.

Photographs can be entered in four categories: Wild Open Spaces; Wonderful Colours of Orkney; Waves and Water; and Wondrous Nature in Detail.
