TV production company on the lookout for people moving to Orkney

A Glasgow-based television production company is on the lookout for anyone who may be planning to make the move from a city to Orkney.

Raise the Roof Productions are looking for people to take part in a new documentary series, which will be shown on Channel 5.

The series will focus on those making a big life change by moving out of a big town or city in the UK to live in more rural locations throughout the UK.

The focus will be in lifestyle change as well as other elements of relocating, such as property, re-schooling children, finding a job and settling into a new community.

The series will be presented by Kate Humble, who made a similar move herself several years ago.

Raise the Roof Productions have said they would like to feature someone planning a move to Orkney and who is actively looking for a property or has already put in an offer to buy.

Specifically, they are looking for someone planning to move in the summer months this year with whom they could film before the move, just after the move and a little while afterwards.
