Uppies take Men’s Ba’

The Uppies have won the Christmas Men’s Ba in a game that lasted just short of four hours.

A break saw the ba’ move from Broad Street right towards the Uppie goal, but led to some confusion among players and spectators as they tried to work out where the ba’ was.

But then, at 4.45pm, the elusive ba’ reappeared and hit the wall at Mackenson’s Corner.

Thorfinn Craigie claimed the trophy.
